FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL CERVANTINO

October 14 - November 1, 2009

This year’s international music festival features more than 2,300 artists and 25 nations from 5 continents in venues throughout the colonial city of Guanajuato with guests of honor Quebec and the state of Zacatecas. The theme for the year is Galileo and the Telescope: 400 years in honor of the International Year of Astronomy. In this guide, you will find event recommendations, venue information including hotels, restaurants and activities along with ticket information.

During the weekend, Guanajuato's center can be very crowded, so we have selected events that take place during the week or in venues outside of Centro on the weekends. Many events sell out, so purchase your tickets early and make your reservations in hotels and restaurants as soon as possible. Have fun and enjoy the Festival!
